How can I find a cologne/perfume that smells good on me?

every time I find one I like on someone else or in a bottle when I put it on it doesn't smell the same.How can I find a cologne/perfume that smells good on me?

The only way to find a perfume that smells nice on you is to try some. Go to a department/drug store and find a smell you like, making sure that you have not worn anything else scented that day. Spray some on yourself, and leave. If after about 4 or 5 hours you still like how it smells on you, then it's a good match for you.





It's imperative that you wait that long, and also that you only test one perfume at a time. You have to leave it for that long so that your it has time to interact with your body, as well as for the top 'notes' to evaporate. (The alcohol in perfume evaporates pretty quickly, changing the smell, and then after an hour or two the smell will have changed again due to more evaporation, and then after about 4 or 5 hours you will have the true smell of the perfume) I know this will be a time consuming process, but it's worth it to find your signature scent.How can I find a cologne/perfume that smells good on me?

There is one thing you have to remember when choosing a perfume or cologne is that each perfume will smell different from person to person, this is because it reacts to your body heat and there's nothing more important to how a fragrance will smell on you than your body's PH balance. Ideal PH is alkaline - but stress and poor nutrition will turn your balance to acid in no time, and that in turn will react differently to anything you apply on your skin.





So what I suggest you do is go to the store and apply a couple perfumes, one on each wrist, and do some shopping and after 10 minutes smell your arm and pick the one that smells best on you, or continue the next day all over again. Another way when your at a friends, sisters, or parents house ask if you can try one of their perfumes and if you like the way it smells or you get compliments on the perfume you found the one that is right for you.
ofcourse it will not smell the same when u smell it from the bottle or or any other person..





try the perfume on ur hands at the vains on ur wrist and wait until it dries of dont rub it with ur hands after that smell it..this smell is the one u will smell when u put it on..
