How do you tell if its girls or guys perfume/cologne?

I have some cologne or well i think its cologne but it says eau du parfum spray. how are you supposed to tell if its girls perfume or guys cologne:\ its really hard to tell!.How do you tell if its girls or guys perfume/cologne?
Well, girls perfume usually is fruity or flowery or like vanilla, and guys smells like not much in particular. Perfume comes in more girly bottles and colors while guys seem more manly. Some guys brands are axe, tag, or Diesel.How do you tell if its girls or guys perfume/cologne?
well parfum probably means perfume because it sounds alot like it and not even close to cologne and it shouldn't matter, the only thing that should matter is whether you like it or not
Usually guys perfume comes in a black or dark bottle
