I'm not sure if it changes the scent but I know it evaporates a lot quicker! I left a half bottle of my favorite in my car and when I found it under the seat it was completely empty!! :( Is it bad to leave your cologne or perfume in the car?
It's okay if you park your car in a garage since it won't be exposed on sunlight. But yeah, it will definitely ruin your perfume if you leave it in any hot place. Some perfumes can even burst to flames especially the ones with alcohol in them. So, you can just store your perfumes in some shelf of your bedroom where it's a little gloomy. It helps to keep the smell stay.Is it bad to leave your cologne or perfume in the car?
Absolutely, it's worse than even leaving it in direct sunlight. A car gets hot in the sun, and will cook your perfume. It will end up sour or smelling bad. It's really too expensive to have that happen, so I keep mine at home and away from windows.
True Playa tip #47
One must always be smelling fresh, cause it's always go time!!!!
WORD
It can break down the fragrance composition and change the smell. Just throw it out...you don't need those nasty, non FDA regulated chemicals on you anyway.
