probably ethanol. Don't use methanol, it's toxic. Heavier alcohols will just take longer to evaporate, so yeah I'd probably use ethanol. What type of alcohol is best to use in making perfumes %26amp; colognes?
Methanol is used to make perfumes and colognes. That is why they are poisonous to drink and people in need of alcohol have drunk them and become blind, a side affect of methyl alcohol poisoning. What type of alcohol is best to use in making perfumes %26amp; colognes?
Anything except methanol, which is toxic. Ethanol is commonly used, and higher alcohols are probably used occasionally (but the perfumeries don't say much about their recipes).
Fortified wines. MD-2020 puts the rosy colour in a wino's nose %26amp; cheeks! Mixs well with other semi-toxins.
